Hey Reefers just a reminder, always dip your newly acros! i bought this from a local fish store. first dipped with coralRX, i did 4 cups for less then a gallon. they were still moving around, used what i have left of bayer and added it with the coral rx. these sucker were still moving around.

Lastly i did not want these in my tank, so i trashed them. sucks that LFS do not take care of there corals like they should. what a waste of 15 dollars.

after 15 minutes of bayer and coral rx i put them in a seperate container and started blasting them,

i found at least 7-8 of them underneath the plug of a superman monti.

Yeah but its part of the hobby and i can guarantee 75% of aco keepers have this bug and hide it or dont know they have it. The other 25% have QT tanks and do weekly dips and inspections before introducing the coral to there DT. Its inevitable

I don't think coral x will kill flatworms. Need to use flatworm exit. Took me months and couple hundred dollars to kill all in my 175.

It shows again the need for coral quarantine. I dip, cut the frag of the plug, discard the old plug. Mount the frag on a new plug, quarantine for 6 weeks, one coral /tank (small QT-1.5 gal, power head, heater, skimmer, 10w hybrid led light), dip again and DT. Maybe I'm going a bit overboard, but better safe than sorry.

flat worms are a real pain... FW exit does wonders though. after going thru an infestation myself i will be sure to dip all corals with it before they go into my tank. i also use revive.
