Today i bought a Hatian purple tip Condy anenmone, have been researching alot,& didnt want a huge anenmone in my reef.

Well after acclimation,i put the creature in my tank,& my reef being mostly SPS has tons of flow, the anenmone was taken under a huge piece of LR that has SPS colonies on it.I can see the anenmone under there,& it has footed down,& is just having the time of his life under there,WAYYYY outta site of not only me,but the poor mated clownfish that i bought it for.

My ? is will he come out,or do i gotta try again?

Stupid thing.

condys are atlantic anemones and are very capable of eating a clownfish

So much 4 research,i knew they were agressive, but I never read that it could eat my clowns.Good thing it's only the size of a golfball.:eek2:

how will i know if it is stinging my clam or milii?

if it is close enough to touch them there is a stinger on every tentacle.

so is the clam firmly attached? its not easy to move an anemone
also that thing is going to get big do you have room for it?

usually people move corals for their nems because the nems are hard to move any damage to the foot is usually unrecoverable.

Its in a 210g reef.

This thing is dug in like an Alabama tick,it came from under the LR where u c it,the clam is firmly footed down. The foot of the anemone is inside a tiny hole in the LR.
