I will shortly like to buy two clown fish, what do i need to know and which type are best for beginners. Thanks in advance.

That's a loaded question

All clowns are pretty easy to keep and are very similar in their care and feed. If I were you I would check out all of the different clown fish on Live Aquaria and read about the different ones. Aggression is there with all of them once they start spawning but some are downright killers!!!!
So read and then when you pick one out do a Google search or search here as well and read some more. Fish personality is very different in some of them over others.
But to add you can't go wrong with either Ocellaris or Percula and any of the designers that come from the two of them.

It's been a while for me since I've had any clowns, but I've heard that if you're going to have more than one, particularly and most popular a pair, you should buy them together and introduce them to your tank together. It's even better if they are sold as a pair at a LFS
