First fill leak test question

Ok so i filled my tank to check my plumbing job. All is well so far no leaks. Now i already checked the actual tank for leaks earlier, filling it up all the way no leaks. This time i just filled sump and the overflows.

Little background: I have a 120 gallon dual overflow tank with a Trigger systems ruby sump. My return pump is the Sicce Silent 5.0. (And silent it is).

So to my question. The drains seem to be coming out with some force, is that normal? Everything is cycling thru ok but just seems like the drains are very forceful. Also when i look in the overflows the water seems to go down like a 1/4 inch then come back up, repeating that over and over again.

Is it just that forceful because i do not have water in the actual tank and only in the overflows and sump? If thats not the reason is there anything i can do to remedy the problem with the water going up and down in the overflows.

Besides seems to be running ok.

My durso standpipes are silent and return pump are silent but the sound of the force of the water of the drains **IS NOT!**

I see that pump moves 1321gph. That is quite a bit through a sump. You can mess with valving it down.

How many drains are there to the sump, and how big are the holes?

Two 1 inch drains. I did dial back the pump and it is a lot better. That pump was not even on high in video above it moves crazy water. I turned on high and it drains the return area in a few seconds, drains can't keep up.

But still have a slight issue with that water level in the overflows going up and down. Only one side does it and it isn't constant anymore. Just every now and then it goes down about a 1/2 inch and rises back up and does this a few times then equals out for a bit before doing it again.

Sorry. Forgot about you. Any luck yet.

That might be too much flow for the 1 inch drains. Valve down the return pump on the pressure side. Mess with the durso by adjusting the height and shoving some airline down the top.
