This is my first one and wanted to get your guys opinion and maybe some helpful advice along the way. I believe it is a Antennarius maculatus aka wartskin frog fish, he is prob just about a half an inch long maybe a little smaller and I know I'm prob goin to catch Hell for the size of the tank but I will assure you it "IS NOT" his permanent home. The tank is a 5 gallon rimless with a hob filter and panorama LED's goin on soon.

Sorry for the crappy camera phone pics let me know what you think.

Very cool! And he is waaay small! I got mine at just under 2" and I still think he is a baby... I'm not going to give you grief for keeping him in a 5g, I kept mine in one for the first month-ish while his 20g was getting ready. I have a thread in the Tampa Bay Saltwater Sponsor section if you want to see pictures of mine, I won't post them, this is your thread. :D Be careful not to overfeed the little guy, it can actually be deadly. :uhoh3:

Yes lol he is tiny. I don't mind at all if you post a pic of yours :).. Ya I have done some research and I hear if you over feed them the food will rot in their stomach b/c they digest food slowly? Please correct me if I am wrong. Also hear the will reach their adult size in about a year? And luckly he is eating well, tried too feed him a little ghost shrimp but he couldn't get it down. So I got him eating live brine. What would you recommend feeding him at this size? Sorry I'm full of questions lol

Just try to get some really small Ghost shrimp. Live mysis are good because even the biggest of them aren't nearly the size of Ghost shrimp, but they can be expensive.

Here's a few of mine:

I got a new light the other day (top pic) so he changed from orange to red. :lolspin:

Yeah, I broke down and finally got a light strong enough for corals. So far, I have gotten a Zoa frag, Zoa rock, and an orange ricordia that I just got today. All I'm really going to get now is more Zoas, I really am liking some of them (Darth Mauls, Atomic Reds, Electric Watermelon, Sunsets...). I could go on and on... :spin2:
