First nano experience

Just baught a 14 gallon bio cube (oceanic) and i am trying to figure out which fish i should get. I really want a manderin dragonnet but would like some opinions on what fish are good in nano enviorments. I plan on making it a reef tank so fish must be reef compatiable. Thank you in advance for all your help.

A Mandarin will starve in a tank that small unless you want to buy a bottle of pods every 2 weeks (at least).

You could get 3 fish in there (Not at first, add them slow)

Maybe a clown, firefish & a Yellow Watchman Goby w/ a pistol shrimp?

Thanks for the info guys, i think i am going to get a yellow watchmans goby for sure.

I have one more question, my water temp fluxuates big time between 74-76 degrees. Is it possible to put a heater on this tank?? Please let me know what you have done.

I have the same tank. I remove the carbon and put the heater behind the prefilter.. I also removed the bio-balls but I have to keep the water at a higher level to keep the noise down.
