first nem and ?

always wanted an anemone but I was hesitant because I scared of poisoning my tank. I picked this guy because of dirt cheap price. I think it's a haddoni, but I could be wrong. seemed healthy at the lfs. first pic is a few hours after adding it. second is three days later. I want to know if it looks ok, and when should I start feeding. my tank is two years old with mostly softies and a few lps. parameters are good except calcium is a little low at 380. I just wanted to try to coax my maroon clown from the corner and give him something to play in.

Yep it looks like a haddoni to me but a bit bleached. I'll let one of our resident carpet experts help you on this one. There is a sticky at the top about treating with Cipro you should read it and be prepared to run this guy through a cycle. I would do this for one that wasn't bleached.

looks about the same. haven't fed it yet, but it did grab some Mysis when I fed the fish. don't think it's bleached. it's just the color of a common Haddoni. it's more blue green than the pics show.

Color doesn't mean anything about bleached. It appears to be translucent to a point that is bleached, ya it could be the pictures
