I really got slung into a breeding mode and I'm having to build this thing up on the fly.....my 90 DT has ich so all my tanks are tied up and I'd like to get one free for them but limits a few options for me.....ok enough about that and on to the breeding set up....
My set of clowns I owned which should signs of breeding but the heavy stock 90 I believe wouldn't allow for the female to give in and do it..... This pair an ocellaris and a b&w ocellaris
Second pair is coming from a friend in exchange for a RBTA....pair has been breeding regularly in his 72b and honestly annoys him since the are always guarding the eggs....this pair is a reg ocellaris pair
The 3rd pair that really pushed this into a different gear was that a local board had a FREE pair of platinum clowns....after meeting for them the guy said he's had them for 4 years and he had pairs breed and really things these guys are ready if I bumped up the diet since he had an SPS tank....
Soooo now on to the new setup:
29 gallon tank divided into 3 sections
3-1" bulkheads w strainers, ball valves to control
Mag 7 return
Gutted 14g biocube for sump
Approx 15
