Looking for some advice again(lol), with regards to acclimating shipped fish and inverts. This is a first for me and I want it done right. The order is going from one end of Canada to the other.

Three of us are going in on the oder. One of them has done it before, but I'm more cautios than he is. He gets them in the display tank within an hour. He does not quarantine. I will be QT'ing. Any suggestions on how to so this properly i.e.-drip acclimate or temp, salinity and straight in??

I just temp, and salinity acclimate for local purchases. Thanks again.

I always use the drip method for my fish. Works very well. I don't like floating bags in my tank and taking the chance some of the bag water will enter my tank.

Make sure the salinity of your qt is low so you can match it to the bag for the fish. You don't want to increase salinity on fish more than .001 or .002 and many online sellers have their salinity around 1.020.

Inverts probably will be shipped to you at 1.025.
