First timer with anemones

What does a beginner need to know about anemones? Is it an absolute to have strong lighting? I have a 36 gal with 30 lbs dry rock and 2 clowns. Running a BRS carbon reactor, and two aqueon powerheads. Planing on getting some T5 lighting but for now I have a traditional hood with T8 50/50 bulb. All the help is greatly appreciated.

How old is the tank?
How far along the cycle?

There are lots of items that affect and help it's growth and happiness.

Lets talk some about what you have and then move forward on some good ideas for a beginner.

Almost 5 months into the life of the tank, and I was thinking a bubble tip for the clowns.

Bta's are a good nem to start with. I would say about 100 or so watts of t5's would be good, powerhead covers would be a good Idea. what else is in the tank, they will sting somethings. For some reason some bta's grow fast and get big other stay smaller. If you can buy a clone from someone, you will know better what to expect. what kind of clowns? some will live in your nem and some won't. And good and stable water parms are best.
