first zoas

i just got a zoa last night for my 10gal nano. kind of my trial coral before i invest in more corals

Nice start with your zoas.

BTW, it isn't necessary to cycle your tank with a damsel. You are exposing this fish to high levels of ammonia and nitrates/ites. If this wasn't your intention then I apologize, but I get irratated by LFS that tell people to put damsels in their tank to help with the cycling process.
 
na i think my tank was basically cycled when i put him in i just wanted to be a hundred percent sure i was ok because i can afford to trust test kits
 
been trying to get them some food. some of them ate zooplakton but not all. i thin ill be ok though. i am interested in fragging them to a large piece of live rock because they are on a disc like rock now. but i am afraid of damaging the colony. any tips on this.
