Fish acclimation methods

Hello guys, I was just wondering what methods you guys use for acclimating fish. I saw a really interesting method on tanked. They put the bag with the fish in the tank, and it just floas at the top and gets heated. Is this a good method? Thanks.

I float the bag for about 15min then drip tank water into bucket with lfs for an hour to two depending on hoe sensitive the fish is. Same for corals but dip corals after drip

I do the same but half way through take the LA approach and take out about half of the water in the bucket and continue the drip acclimation.

If it is a fish only tank and your salinity is lower or equal to what the salinity is in the bag, then once the temperature is equal in both tank and bag , then I add the fish to my QT tank. For reef tanks, where the salinty is around 1.25 or 1.26 . most fish wholesellers and fish stores keep their non reef fish tank at a lower salinty like 1.19 , when you are adding fish where the salinty is higher than where they were obtained, it is less stressfull for the fish to follow the drip method, the bigger the difference in salinity , the longer the acclimation period.

I float the fish for 15 minutes. Take out about half the water and then drip acclimate for 30 minutes. Then into the 29 quarantine tank..
