Fish acting weird

I have had a fish in a QT tank for about 1 week now. Everything has been going good. Fish has been eating, very active, etc. All of the sudden this morning he is breathing very heavy. He will still eat, but not as actively as he was yesterday. Any ideas? Could this be the start of ich after a week in QT?

Water Parameters:

S/G 1.0255 (tested on refract)
PH 8.1
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate 5-10ppm

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

What type of fish is it?

any white spots on it, fins body mouth eyes?

No spots, or any sign of a disease other than heavy breathing. He is a "unknown" blenny. Believed to be a hairy blenny, or in the comb tooth family.

Should I dose some Seachem Para Guard in the tank?

are you running some sort of air pump? my did that too but alot quicker and i added a old air pump with a sand stone and they were fine, good luck, troy

No I dont have an air stone in there. I just hooked up an air line to my PW. We will see how it goes..

Well, as long as it isn't boiling with movement from bubbles..... Some common sense will tell you what a good amount of airbubbles are.
