Fish always hiding

I have a 90 gallon with 2 Clowns, Mandarin, Dispar Anthia and a Blue Eye Kole. The Anthia hides a lot, hangs out with the clowns in their corner sometimes. The Kole goes around the tank a little more when I'm around as well. I use to have more fish, but through an equipment malfunction lost 2 and sold a Blue Tang that grew out to a neighbor. When I had more fish, everybody was out all the time. The parameters are good, Nitrates are undetectable and temperature is 78-80 depending on the temperature outside.

I'm tempted to get another baby Blue Tang to get everybody out again. Can somebody talk me out of it?

You need some peaceful dither fish to make the anthias feel safe. Something like some flasher wrasses would be ideal. Perhaps some chromis, or, cardinals even.

I think so too, which is what I was hoping to use the baby Tang as. Last time I put in a flasher, the Kole went after it too fast and it didn't make it. I don't like Cardinals, but Chromis is an idea. Any other good options?

Do you have enough hiding spaces? If fish don't have enough rock/coral close by they tend to stay hidden more. It is their security blanket, if they know there is a place to hide close by they are more likely to stay out in the open. I noticed with my tank as I added more rock, the fish came out more. Just a thought.

I think I do. I can take a picture, but there is a large wall of rock. There use to be more fish and all had proper hiding spots.
