Fish at Midwest Exotics

Just wanted to say i had a good experience at Fish's place. He's a great and genuine guy with good prices and good stock :) I scored some tonga pieces that go great in my nano. I will be visiting the shop again soon!

Its got 2 36w pc's i believe. and 3 led's for moonlighting. I have a pair of 18w pc's with ballasts that i'm probably going to mount in the canopy along with the existing ones. Should give me a little bump in lighting power. It will take me up to 108w which is ok i guess. the water level is only about 16" deep to the sand bed so i think i'll be good for at least the near future.

I'm seeing plentiful amounts of pods roaming around when i move the rock. Things are looking good so far health-wise :)

I need more rock to build up the aquascaping. I think i'll be going back to Fish and picking up some fiji for most of the shape, then use all the tonga shelves and branches i got to finish it off. I also got a needle's eye shaped tonga rock (i think thats what you'd call it). It should be interesting when its covered with coral.

BTW, off topic, but i tried calling you Steve, no answer! lol I'll have to bring my son by sometime and show him your tank. He's 5 months old now, aware of whats going on, but most of the time not sure what to think of it :D Fatherhood is a blast

I bought 20 more pounds of rock and tossed it all in. Found a handful of hitchhikers, nothing bad though.

Here's some zoos that tagged along

Looks really nice and full, man!
What sort of livestock are you considering?
Rainsford goby?
...couple of Firefish?

Totally off topic, but who the hell uses their own picture as an avatar, anyway?!? :bum:
