Fish Bowl ?

Did the "Fish Bowl" in Sarasota move or close ?

Fish Bowl moved to the Forest Lakes plaza at the corner of webber and beneva. Very Small store, Service is slow, owner? seems to prefer yapping on the phone over interacting with customers.

They are schedule to close on the 23rd of Feb. according to the sign on the door.

I just heard that the other day too. When they were on Siesta Dr, the rent was killing them, but the location was good, I think this location wasnt good. I have stopped by, but it was always after hours.

Yeah I miss the Fishbowl, now I have to drive further out to Seascapes. I think Fishbowl had some good prices on some livestock. I heard the owner is now working primarily as a Saltwater Aquarium maintenance type job. Someone told me that he will actually deliver livestock and drygoods to your house, but I find that hard to believe with gas prices and all.

On s.r 70 next to geckos there is a lps call KD's. good people reasonable prices.

Fish Bowl is now closed, and there was a sign on the door that said something to the effect that he still will be cleaning tanks, and delivering fish..

I go to Marine Dreams regularly. They have EXCELLENT customer service and a knowledgeable staff.

Glad to see another person found the local forum. Tell us a little about your tank. You should try to attend the local club meetings. We are trying to set something up with mote for next months.
