Hi Guys,

I need some advice picking my next fish. I keep going back and forth through a lot of choices and have narrowed it down to four that Im thinking about. Please advise me, of one, two or a combination of all. I feel that all of them would be too much. I have a 220 gallon mixed reef tank. My current inhabitants are:

pair of ocellaris clowns
yasha haze goby
starry blenny
blue devil damsel
three royal gramma
purple firefish
leopard wrasse
lemon peel angel
flame angel
magnificent fox face
marine betta
copperband butterfly
tomini tang
purple tang

black longspine urchin
2 fire cleaner shrimp
2 skunk cleaner shrimp
1 pistol shrimp
2 serpent starfish

My want list for this tank still, and I feel it's unreasonable are:

Moorish Idol
Red sea regal angel
Golden semilarvatus butterfly
Blue throat trigger

I know I can't have all four, but what are peoples thoughts?

Why couldnt you have all four?

I'm just worried about bioload. And personality clashes. I also have 200 pounds of live rock if that makes a difference...

I'd go with the regal and golden butterfly. The bluethroat even though its a peaceful trig will likely start chasing the smaller gobies and fish making them hide more often once the trig gets large and settled. The idol would be cool but they tend not to last for more than 2-3 years if youre lucky from what I've read. I have a small Regal Angel for over year and it's by far one of my most favorite fishes I have, eats everything I feed too.

You can cancel the Regal Angel. They are very timid and shy and will not eat if they are stressed or scared. With having 2 dwarf angels, 2 tangs, and a foxface already established, they can cause pure hell to any newcomers. I recommend taking the Regal off the list. Usually they are the 1st fish you put in the tank so they can get established and eating well. Bluethroat could have a problem getting settled in to with that established livestock.
