fish died in quarantine

I have 4 trays in my freezer 2 of pure rodi water and the other two of mixed salt water. when the tank gets too hot i put them in the filter or sump (usually in a sock or something so i can pull them out.

How often does you tank get too hot? Never thought of this..

Not often a couple days in the summer. I plan to get a chiller after I move, but I just don't want to change much until then
