fish dropping like flys

Okay so I have a fish problem! I have a 29 gal reef with a 20 gal sump recently I tried adding fish to my tank but they do good for about a week then after the first week they show signs of ich then a day later a light colored rotting patch by the tail starts to form... this is the 6th fish that it has happend to. The only fish that are not affected by this is my yellow watchman goby and my blue damsel.

From what I understand your tank might not able to support the # of fish you had. I think the sailfin alone requires 30 gallons. I've had enough outbreaks to know that stress is a catalyst for ich.

Sounds like you have good ideas for a tank - time to upgrade to a 75 gal!(NICE!)Keep your 29 for a qt .

can you post a pic of your current setup?

a sailfin in a 30? hahahaha lets try a 125 minimum.

+3 or 4 or 5...
Its difficult to tell if your tank is being plagued by something when the population in your tank is causing problems on its own. The current fish may be stressing any new additions to death as well. Unfortunately if you want to keep more fish your simply going to need a larger tank. I almost guarantee this is the source of your problem.

Its a blue damsel and for the most part he does not mess with anyone. And I've been reading and it might be some sort of external fluke because before the fish die they start to twitch their head.
