ok well let me start with my tank is 80g mainly sps and parms have been check consistantly over last few weeks since this started, cal 450-60 alk 8-9 mag 1300-1400 temp 77-79 , i had added a multibar angel month or so ago and it broke out with a little ich, as pretty much any new fish does in my system, was the first fish i had added that i didnt do my fresh water dip then pro cure dip on. it broke out pretty decent with ich. tried to catch it but couldnt, fish seemed to get better over the ich but wouldnt eat, fish eneded up dying. next my pb died then my clowns started dropping one after another, the clowns ive had for almost a yr. then my algea blenny and my pair of swallowtail angels, my male flame wrasse and cleaner wrasse and pair of yashi gobies are all fine, they had broken out a little as well. now none of the fish that died had open sore's ect nor redness of the gill, corals are all fine other then a little rtn on some of my sps. i am baffled and at a loss over what the problem is , i did put a poly pad in the other day to see if it changes color any to see if maybe a chemical got in there ect. any idea's ?

i did have 4 clowns, 1 flame wrasse, 1 cleaner wrasse, 1 algea blenny 1 pb, 2 yashi gobies, and 2 small swallow tails. all fish were small on size, my filtration handles the bio-load and rock work was built to keep tank as open as possible to hide out's cut through ect, just really baffled

I have lost an entire tank before to ich when one fish comes in infected it can wipe out your tank. sorry that sucks when it happens. How was your temp in your tank on the really warm days?

never above 79. have a chiller, the clowns have been in tank forever and have battled through ich before several times clowns and super male flame and cleaner wrasse have been in system since the start, thats what i cant figure

Amyloodinium? Often mistaken for ich... will cause more sensitive fish to drop dead before the more hearty fish start to show signs of "ich." 80-90% kill rate and fast moving, especially in tanks with a high fish population. Your best bet is to do what I'm currently doing; dt empty for 8-12 weeks, any remaining fish in a qt and treated appropriately. All new fish, coral, inverts to be qt'd 8-12 weeks before going in the display.
