k teena,
just let us know, I think you can though, I did have 2 gobys at one point when my very first saltwater was a 10 gal nano. I had a yellow goby and a catalina goby and they did well together.. I never had any problems with them, Unfortunately the Catalina Died on my through a cycle change when I upgraded my 20 gallon but I still have my yellow goby and my green goby in my 20 gal now. They are doing fine as well ...

here is some info from fosters and smith's on the goby

" To be successfully cared for, it should be housed in a 50 gallon or larger aquarium with live sand as the substrate, and an attached populated refugium. A well-sealed canopy should be provided. It rarely will become aggressive towards other fish, but is territorial, and will fight with its own kind unless they are a mated pair. "

mine is a orange spoted goby,i dont have a canopy on my tank, should i pass on it or does anyone see a problem with this,

i had a orange spotted jump out of my tank and i have a canopy. i put egg crate over the tank for a while but i removed it over a month ago it still has not jumped out it tends to stick to the bottom of the tank as for the yellow head and the orange spotted getting alond im not sure it is very peacefull to all the other tank inhabitants.

Jumped out?? Orange spotted sleeper gobies are bottom dwellers...... ??? (Mine never gets more than 3" off the sand.)

And aren't these prone to starvation? Putting two in the same tank only exacerbates that condition, which is why (as Ihavetats correctly says) you'll have to augment their sand-sifting for Food. I feed mine sinking pellets, among other frozen delectable options.
