Fish for sale.

I have a Clownfish and a Bangaii Cardinalfish for sale. Not sure what the clown is, but I'll get a picture up. He has an Ocellaris shape body and stripes, and is the same size as one, but his orange is much prettier and the bottom half of him is black instead of orange. White stripes.
The Cardinal is a Pterapogon kauderni. Not a baby, but not a bulky/fat adult either.
I really love these fish, but I'm downgrading all of my tanks and don't have room for them anymore. Both are shy where I don't spend the time I should with them. I would love to sell them together. Unless you have a 40g+ tank... I don't want them to go a small home, you know. Also, I'm a firm believer in quarantine tanks, and unless you have one... Sorry. They've been in the tank for 2+ years and they don't have anything on them that I can see or detect, but you never know...
Not sure what the LFS sells these fish for, but I'm not looking to make a buck, just making sure they go to a good home.
15$ for the Cardinal.
20$ for the Clown.
Pics are loading.

I don't really believe in quarantines. I think it's a lot healthier to drop fish into a healthy reef tank, honestly! So don't rule out good people who don't have quarantines.

What if the fish gets sick? I've tried those "over the counter" meds for ich, for instance, and they didn't work. Lost a lot of great fish that would still be alive had I QT'ed them.

If fish get sick then you feed them garlic and temporarily hook up a UV sterilizer to kill the microorganisms floating in the water column.

Fish that are in a healthy reef tank a) shouldn't get ich unless something weird happens and b) should get over it if they do.

As Dave said on another thread, removing a fish from its home and putting it into quarentine when it gets sick...then treating it with chemicals is incredibly stressful on the fish.

I have had two ich outbreaks in 15 years...one due to a heat issue (tank temp spiked because of heat in the house from me accidentally leaving the air conditioner off one day). My fish got over it though, once I added garlic/vitamins to their food and hooked up a UV sterilizer.

edit: I can't even remember what the reason for the other outbreak was. Something stupid...human error.

Well, I don't want this thread to turn into a discussion or get off-topic and end up closed... So, I'll just say that I believe QT is the way to go.

I messed up... the black on the clown is on top not on the bottom... But you can see that in the vid. They are both very peaceful fish and eat like champs. I'm going to take the fish to the LFS soon if no one wants them... I'd really rather someone take them. Give me a price.

If threads that got off topic got closed for that reason, all the threads in ETRC would be closed.

Also, when Fancy Oce Clowns get older they get a lot of black on the top or bottom (I can't remember which) half of their bodies. So it could be a mature fancy ocellaris clown!

Off topic posts in for sale forums do get closed in the Selling Forum, usually due to people posting feedback in the sale thread. Never seen that happen in the club forums, though.
