I've got some clown fry that I have not been able to photograph very well. The fish are very small and very hard to get in focus.
When their colors come in, (they are starting to come in) I was going to try and get some good pictures.
Just wondering what some ideas I might try. Besides cleaning the rotifers off the glass, turning down the water flow, and not adding more green water, I was thinking there might be something I can do with the lights. Like maybe I can cover the sides of the tank back up except the side the camera is on, in the hopes of attracting all of the fry with a light. Then putting the camera in manual focus, and hope the fry swim into the point I'm focused on.
Just wish I had a good clear specimen container of some sort. I think it would be easier to move the fish to a more confined location.
The lens I will try and use is a 50 mm compact macro lens. When I can get things in focus, they come out reasonably sharp.
