Fish ID please

Hello everybody!
This is my first post!!! :wave:
Please help me to ID this fish (in the store they call it banana basslet ) and i cant find any information about it.

Small-toothed Whiptail. Pentapodus caninus They are in the Bream family. Relatives to Fusliers and Snappers.

Close on the commonname. They are usually referred to Banana fish. They are not related to basslets. In fact when this guys grow up, they probably snack on basslets. Pentapodus caninus should reach about a foot long. They are a very active fish that can eat a ton.

I really miss my pair and would love to find them again.

Usually they are misID'ed as Pentapodus emeryii (Double Whiptail Breams). I know I've posted on here before by mistake Emeryii's.



NexDog, you can also see my Scolopsis bilineata in the feeding video. That was an awesome fish.
