My wife saw this fish at an aquarium and fell in love with it, but there was no name on the exhibit... anyone know what it's called?

It's an orange spotted aka harlequin filefish. (Oxymonacanthus longirostris)

Not an easy species to keep! But they are stunning..

Bummer they're so hard to keep. A couple of articles about possibly weaning them off of corals, but I don't think I'm going to try.

Actually... There is a rumor around about a study, and the people who have observed these fishes say, that they so not eat coral polyps, but some critters and slime from the coral.
Some say that they eat Acropora and Montipora polyps, but it is not necessarily true!

I know a pair of these in an amazing SPS tank, and they have not eaten any polyps...
I'm not saying that this is true, that they don't feed on coral polyps, but there is a word around
I'm actually going to try one of these in a mixed reef...

They are "obligate corrallivores." Their natural diet is corals.
