It looks like a mono hard to tell from the pic. They are a brackesh water fish.

Sorry for the bad picture. Looking at pictures online, you guys nailed it. Saw them at PetCo (I was there for dog food :-0) and had never seen this fish before. They were in the SW tank with clowns and a foxface. Looks like adults can survive in SW tanks.

I think they are neat... like having a batfish without the extra foot length
