Hello,

Does anyone know what type of Blenny this is? Looks like maybe a Florida Blenny or Feather Blenny but doesnt 100% match those. Thanks for any input.

Hard to tell from the huge picture but its either Godzilla or an outside chance Molly miller blenny.

I know this is old, but in case you didn't get an answer, I'd agree with your thought on the Florida blenny. It looks a lot like Chasmodes bosquianus in body and head shape, but doesn't have the longitudinal stripes, rather spots instead. They're very similar. It is definitely not a feather blenny as the cirri are too small and the head shape and mouth size of the feather blenny is much different. Feather blennies more resemble Hypsoblennius invemar in body and head shape, but have a much thicker tuft of cirri. Male H. hentz have very thick and tall cirri that give it their common name of feather blenny.

Awesome little fish. How is he doing? How is your tesselated blenny doing btw?
