Fish ID

This is not my fish, but I am intensely curious what it is. My best guess is a basslet of the same genus as the lantern basslet, Serranus sp, but I couldn't find anything that matched.

Lobster nailed it. I had one for a few years. Cool fish with lots of personality. Can be really nasty to small fish though. Mine made me pull my hair out because he would rip my seaweed out of the clip
