fish keeps hiding

I have a Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse that doesn't want to come out anymore. I've had him for about 6 months now and he was always out swimming through the rocks. Within the past two weeks, he just hides under rocks and comes out only to eat. He looks good and healthy but I'm a little worried.

Other fish with it.

I haven't seen the other fish bother him before. Is it common for Wrasses to do this?

They could be harrassing him.
Look for lesions next time he comes out.
When a fish has an open wound or is injured they will hide so the other fish don't eat or pick it's scales.

If you want to draw him out, add another fairy wrasse of some kind. They usually can't resist swimming and checking up on the other wrasse.
