I am in the process of upgrading from a 46 to a 70 with about 20 gallons in the sump. Tank is 36.5x18.5x25. Anyone see any problems with this fish list?

These are the fish I already have:
Ocellaris Clown
Purple Firefish
Yellow Clown Goby
Scissortail Goby
Royal Gramma

Wanting to add:
Yellow Eye Kole Tang
Mandarin Goby (after my new fuge is well established)
Maybe 2 or 3 Blue Green Chromis

Thats an awful lot..... the tang may be too much in the long run for a 36 in tank. I like the list you just seem to not have a larger fish. I would recc. a pgymy.

Those fish seem OK. A 36 inch 70G is kinda small for any tang, but at kole is a good choice if you have to have one.

Yeah I don't really like tangs in a 48" tank period, let alone a 70 you have to imagine:

Stores given the lowest recc. possible to increase the purchase.

Unless you plan on a rockless tank you will not have 70 gallons of open water.

Also just consider the fish. I have a foxface in my 75 gallon, it is recc. for a 75 but I watch as the poor fish swims up on down the front panel. I am currently trying to find him a larger tank.

But in general having the kole will not be too good.

Too small of a tank, increased bio-load, and IMO tanks with a large fish at random look, in a way, sloppy. My tank is a good example. I have smaller schoolers and a random large foxface. When you look at beautiful systems they all have similiar sized fish. Please don; think that is my set mind there are deffinantly beautiful tanks out there with the large fish scheme.
