alright so i been up and running for about 2 months now, and iam getting close to the amount of fish i want in my tank.

im running a 55gal tank with no sump or fuge, all HoB equipment.

I currently only have 2 fish a firefin and combtooth blemmy, as i want to go slow and not overload my bio. my plans are to add 2 clowns and that will leave me 1 more fish to add.

iam looking for suggestions. id like a larger fish but know my tank size limits me quite a bit.

are you planning on having coral? some fish will munch on corals so that is a deciding factor. what kind of HOB equipment do you have? protein skimmer?

for a "bigger" fish how about a Longnose Hawkfish

I'd go with a wrasse. I've fallen in love with them all I think.

any of these are suppose to be reef safe and good for a 50g and up tank. Size range from 3-7in:
