Im looking into adding a jaw fish or a matted pair world be awesome to my tank and would like to know if my current fish will be compatible.

Blue tang
Yellow tang
2 occ clowns (paired i believe always together)
Cleaner shrimp
Ywg (semi paired with pistol) not always together but close burrows.
Pistol shrimp

Tank is 60 gallon (4ft) omg call the tang police yes i know not a suitable size tank o well.
Temp is 78-80 i will gradually lower the temp until the tank is in mid 70-73.
3-4" dsb
Screen top of 1/4" holes

I have a mixed reef
3 Sps
Gold torch
Some montipira
Plate coral
2 bta anemones.
Some zoas.

The only thing i think won't be very compatable will be the pistol shrimp seeing he likes to be on either side of the tank.

Any suggestions or advice?

yes i know not a suitable size tank o well.
You know its not a suitable tank for the fish your housing and you want to add more fish?

Yes i do. The tank may not be suitable for the tangs but o well ive seen tangs in a 36"tank. Let alone a black tang in a 50 cube. But thanks for pointing out something that i already done.

I agree with the above.

I wouldn't worry about adding more fish to your tank if you aren't going to concern yourself with the unsuitable stock you have now. Just because you see a tang in a 36" tank or a 50 cube, doesn't make it right. The folks here on RC have a sticky in most fish related forums, with sizes that are suitable based on years of keeping them in captivity and years of observing the fish in the wild.

I wasn't asking to be bashed about tank size , i was asking about compatibility. Yes not everyone is going to have the right size tank for all the fish we house.

Ywg will not tolerate any jawfish as share same habitat on gravel... Só regardless tang policie, you should not add jawfish deu riso from ywg.
