Currently have 6 line wrasse, blue velvet damsel and 4 stripe damsel in 36 gallon reef tank. All juveniles at the moment.

I have a rainbow BTA in my tank and want to add two black snowflake clowns to my tank but am worried if that is too much aggression in a small tank? Considering taking both damsels out and replacing them with the clowns but and dreading removin them. Could they stay together or is it a forgone conclusion that they must come out?

Thanks!

It would eventually become a battle royale IMO. Removing the two damsels and replacing them with something a little more peaceful would probably be your best bet.
You could try it though. Having to catch two damsels from that size tank shouldn't be much of a problem if worst comes to worst. The High & Dry method outlined in the link below has always worked well for me. GL.

I was sort of thinking the same. I was just hoping someone would counter my own reasoning and convince me of the easier option...lol.

I was told that damsels are harder than hell to capture and I brushed off the warnings thinking I would be better than your avg person trying to round them up. I was wrong.
