fish loosing color

Hi,

I recently set my salt water aquarium and have 2 damsels to start with. They are dark blue in color and yellow strips. One of them is slowly loosing color. Most of the fish is transparent. The other fish is slowly showing the same tendencies.

Can someone let me know why this is happening? I have a stirp which tests for pH and it doesnt show any signs of low pH.

what are all your test readings?(ammonia,nitraite,nitrate,ph,sg) how big of tank? what are you feeding them? how long has the tank been set up?

Tank is 55 gal. Its been 2 weeks since setup
I just added Right now bacteria for fast cycling. It helped a bit. Nitrites reduced. pH seems to be at 8.0. I didnt test ammonia.

I have normal 20w florecent lights. Couple of them

I was wondering of adding a hang on refugium with macroalgae and some bio carbon in it. Would that make my cycling process better? Right now I only have a couple of penguin filters.

Please advice.

A refugium will help everthing in the tank.
