Fish Need Good homes

I am going to start now to find homes for some of my fish. First is a Jack-Knife fish. Swims around, fairly active. Eats frozen, pellets, live etc. Next is a Trumpet fish. He will need a BIG home. I hate to get rid of him, but when I switch tanks, I will have nothing to put him in. He's really cool- taught him to eat from a net, also eats frozen mysis. He's a very peacefull fellow. He is about ~ the length of an unsharpened pencil. If you think you have room, they are yours.

i like how you compared the pencil-like fish to a pencil

does your trumpet fish always swim vertical?

If it's Equetus lanceolatus, An Atlantic fish from N. Carolina and south, it is very pretty for a drum. Really tall dorsal fin near the front of the fish, and a nice black and white pattern. Probably will eat any shrimp in with it if they are small enough.

Well I have a 125g now( its a tall 125). He will probably need a l-o-n-g tank. He is probably ~ 8" long or so. He will most lilkely get longer. I did buy him @ Best in Pets when he was a little shaver. Its my fault for buying him. I did rely on the info given to me at the store. I was told something different about him. So shame on me for not doing my research.

What was the problem with him that the LFS did not tell you?
My guess is one or the other of these..... size..... They can reach over 30". ....compatibility.....They are living slurp guns and a surprisingly large fish or invert can be slurped in.
