fish opinions

i'm thinking next fish are going to be:

foxface lo
baby blue tang.

not at the same time. foxface maybe this weekend.

any comments?

i'm worried about getting a blue tang, i read how susceptible they are to disease. but they are pretty and peaceful.

other fish in the 165g tank are 3 chromies, pearlscale buttefly and baby sailfin tang.

I had a yellow foxface lo and a magnificent foxface lo. If you have the option, go with the magnificent. I removed my Yellow, magnificent is nice.

I have both...No problems at all with either...Just make sure you feed you fox plenty so it doesn't nip at corals...Don't worry about ick, etc... just get some cleaner shrimp...Even if it does get ick, if healthy, should rid itself of it. without treatment

Regal tang? Paracanthurus hepatus i guess...

Dory is a Blue Hippo Tang. They are very susceptible to ich. Be picky and only get a good, healthy looking one.

IME, the hepatus (Blue Hippo/Dory/Regal) is more susceptible to HLLE than ich. If you get a healthy baby, they seem to do better than if you get a big'un.

The powder blues are more susceptible to ich than the dory. I wouldn't recommend one of those for a new tank, but I think you'll be happy w/ Dory as long as you keep your water quality up & your feeding regime full of greens.
