Fish out of the tank for a few hours before the store opens

I just caught my Aussie Harlequin task which I am going to remove from the tank permanently. Love the fish but switching over to a mix brief from a fish only and also want to vamp up my cleaning crew.

My LFS that will rehome him is not open for a couple of hours. I currently have him in a bucket with and air stone. All good in there for a couple of hours?

As long as there is enough aeration and temperature is stable and within the range, he will be fine for a couple of hours. Put the cover on and leave him along so he doesn't get further excited.

Make sure the water doesn't get too cool, it can cool down surprisingly quickly especially if you're running an air stone (unless you happen to keep your room really warm )
