Worth: Priceless, as I watch it eat the AEFW in my QT system

Not really clear on the "How much are they worth" question (I don't live in the US) but I will say what I have payed for a few fish over the past 12 months or so.

Girdled wrasse (Cirrhilabrus balteatus) - $60

three firefish for 20 dollars, would have paid about 70 for all three
purple tang for 49 dollars b/c he had HLLE at the store, but cleaned up after a month in my tank.

Foxface Lo: $40,$ 60 awesome algae eater. Fun to watch

Sixline: $20, $80 Great looking fish, mine is a peaceful one, and I have some peace in mind against the fact of coral parasites.

Coral Beauty: 24, 24 It is a cool fish but really doesn't have its own personality and is fairly secretive. Considering our hobby is based on the attraction own organisms bring

Percula Clown: Free, $30. The fact they are the generic fish in the hobby doesn't decredit this fish whatsoever. It is a awesome fish by standards of color, personality, and behavior.

Red Spotted Hawkish: 12, 25 Awesome fish extremely fun to watch.

just check live aquaria...wanted to see what this fish looked like. yikes...$169-got a good deal then

EDIT: just checked other places, and found it cheaper, not much, but a little.
