Fish rubbing PVC

So I am constantly learning and constantly searching so I ask for your thoughts. I have two fish in my QT- Potters Angel and a small Powder Blue. Both of which have been in QT for 4 weeks and have just recently started their cuppramine dosing. Both are constantly eating and seem in great health but the PBT started rubbing about 1-2 weeks ago and just recently the Angel started rubbing. I feel if it were ich I would see visible signs on the PBT after 4 weeks. Could this be some other sort of infection I am not familiar with?

How long have you been treating with Cupramine and at what concentration? It needs to be at least 0.35 mg/L for one solid month to eradicate Ich. Also, it's important to note where the fish seem to be rubbing. If they are targeting their gills when they scratch, they may have gills flukes and that requires Prazipro treatment.

I've done two freshwater baths looking for flukes but never saw any. I will dose my final part tonight bringing it to 0.5. It does seem to be concentrated more on the gills so I might do the prazipro as well.

Probably Ich in the gills then. Hold Cupramine @ 0.5 for one month. You can mix Prazi w/copper in a pinch, but it would be best to wait until after copper treatment is over.

That is what I initially thought- not incredibly worried as they are both active eaters and swimming fine. Just thought I would see some spots on the PBT. Thanks fellas!
