I have a 72 bowfront (4 ft) with a 20 gallon sump/fuge underneath
80-90 lbs of rock with plenty of swimming room
octopus NW-150 protein skimmer (rated up to a 150 gallon system)
I do 10 gallon water changes every 2 weeks

I currently have
1 yellow tang
1 perc clown
1 rainfords goby
1 green clown goby
2 chromis

I am getting from a friend
1 royal gramma
1 orangeback basslet
1 green spotted mandarin

What I would like to add after that is...
+3 Chromis
+1-2 clown gobies

The question simply is am I nutts or is this acceptable, other than my tang all of my fish are under 3 inches with several being only 1-2 inches. It is a mixed reef with mostly softies and LPS.

If you skip the 3 extra chromis you should be alright. The clown gobies are so small I dont think they add much to the bio load.

I would keep an eye on the gramma, and the basslet you might have some aggresion issues between the two.

Also has your tank been up and running long enough to support a mandarin? Do you have a refuge to support the pod population?

I just moved from one 72 to my new one which is drilled for all my equip below. All the LR and LS came from my other system which has been running for 2 years and at night it looks like a snow storm there are so many pods swimming around. The royal gramma and orangeback basslet are coming from the same system so they have been buddies for some time.
