Fish suggestions 60 Cube

Have a 60 cube filled with tons of softies and a pair of clowns.
This has been one of my easiest and most successful tanks. Corals are flourishing, eggs from the pair, and maintenance has been cake.

I had a coral beauty that left my corals alone but after 4 months he started nipping. Off to my buddy's mixed reef where he's been a good boy - go figure.

It's been a few months and I miss the swimming pattern of a fish like the beauty. The clowns have their own style. I don't want to add another angel with the risk of the corals.

What do you think?
I don't want just a "floater" fish like a gramma,firefish, etc but to find a "swimming" fish that fits in a 24x24 tank isn't easy. Tang police have no fear.

I've been racking my mind and browsing through liveaquaria to see if I'm missing something.

i would go with a yellow candy hog fish if you don't have any small ornamental shrimp. the grow to 4 inch max and are reef safe. But if you really want a fish with personality and a "floater" try a toby puffer. I have a white spot toby and saddle valentine with rasta zoas, a monti cap, and I few mushrooms and are easy to catch if it starts nipping at corals. CUC may be a problem though. Some flasher and fairy wrasses are very active, reef safe, and out a lot so you could try one or two of them. I also like starry and red spot blennies. anyways, good luck!

* Any of the fairy/flasher wrasses (the Naoko's is my personal favorite)

* Possum Wrasses

* Escenius Blennies (Bicolor, Tailspot, Pictus , Midas etc.)

* Geometric Pygmy Hawk/Hi Fin Perchlet

* Fang Blennies (Striped, Smith's, Canary, Kamohara etc.)

* Starcki Damsel (Even vocal damsel haters love this species)

* Caribbean Longsnout Butterfly (Tube Worms will be toast, but that's about it)

* Fathead Sunburst Anthias

... There's plenty of awesome fish out there for that tank, just keep an eye out :bum:
