Fish suggestions for 12 gallon nano cube

So let's hear what you would stock in a 12 gallon JBJ nano cube. My mind is drawing a blank for anything outside of neon goby.

Going for the CUC Friday and not in a rush for fish right away.

You should get a Naso Tang... LOL Just kidding.

In all honesty, there are not many fish that are recommended for a tank this size. For example. Cardinals, Dottybacks and Royalgammas are all recommended for 20 gallons and above. You could get a small False Percula Clown or a Green Chromis, which I think can live fine in a 12 gallon. However, please note that you should not have more than those two.

If you do get more, they will eventually fight for resources and your nutrient load will be much higher, which in turn will bring other issues like GHA and other things of that nature.

Good luck with your new tank and hopefully you will find something nice to add to the tank.

Just throwing this out to see what others would or have done. Tore down my 75 several years ago and bought the little 12 gallon as I knew I wanted to go small when I had more time.

Thinking of adding some neon gobies and maybe a possum wrasse. Not sure I want a clown. Have been devouring the old threads to see what others have done in these size tanks.
I'm also working on ideas for mini refugiums, but that will come in time.
