Went to Petco in Edmond with a friend who was intrested in buying a snowflake eel they had for couple weeks. An employee had gotten it out put it in a container and had set another container ontop of him. I went around the courner to look for some food, guess he was getting tank water into a bag for the eel. We all came back about same time shocked to see an empty container with the other container still sitting on top. We looked under fish displays, in trash can, net bucket, the guy even tore up the fiberglass piece under the fish displays. There was a big floor drain that we thought he must of went down. So we went to check out feeling bad for the little eel and the guy came running up there saying he found it was under the display.Don't know how we'd missed him but there he was all covered in hair and dust. Still moving and trying to bite when we picked him up surprised cus hed been out of water for 5-10 min. Told him to put him back in their tank. He offered to sell him for half price if he was still alive on thur. so we went back and he looked fine this time he used a net ontop of the container and of course I will always watch whatever I get untill it's secured in a bag or has a tight lid on. Just thought I would share my fish tale with everyone. Anyone eles have a crazy story?
