Did the powers-that-be steal the "fish trap that actually works" post? I can't find it and I would like to have a look at it again. I am pretty sure I am searching far enough back to find it...
Hmm...my search results did not turn it up. It must have been deemed inappropriate in some way. Usually they are just locked not removed. you may want to pm a mod.
No, I'm pretty sure it was here because this is the only club forum that I generally visit (don't you guys feel special??)
It's not too important, I just wanted to check out the picture again...I bought one and need to figure out how it works. I can PM the seller if I'm too thick to eventually figure it out LOL!
It was my post they removed exactly for that reason. I was apearantly selling these for profit but not really. I just asked for the cost of the plexy.... Long storry short here is the pic again.
And if anyone has any questions please let me know. I will be more then happy to help; this is what the trap was suposed to do but rules are rules... If anyone still needs one just PM me please
This picture shows you how the rubber band goes around and where the plexy stick goes to hold it open....

Great!! Thanks for posting the picture again; now I can reference it should I need to. I've been so busy this week that I haven't tackled putting the trap into the tank.
If you don't have time play with it drop it in the tank anyway just to get the fish used to it. Make sure to add some food to it to let them know that this is a good thing....
I have not done it this way but other people have and it worked for them. I guess my fish are just trusting me lol.
Okay, I'll do that tonight. I think my hawkfish is psychic. He'll almost eat out of my hand but if I try to trick him...no way. Getting him used to the trap is going to be a must with that darned fish, because he's going to know it's something designed to rock his world.
If I can catch him...does anyone want a nice big Falco hawk for free that murders shrimp and small gobies for sport?
