fish trap suggestion

i borrowed a fish trap from Hai. It is made by Aqua Medic made in Poland. I never had good luck removing bad fish from either my reef or my fish-only tank. I wanted to remove a bad coris wrasse from my reef and short of tearing the whole thing down, i didnt know how to do it. I put some food in the trap and within 5 minutes i caught the fish I wanted out of my reef. very fast

it is basically a glass box with a drop down glass plate for the door. you hold the glass door up with a fishline and when the right fish goes in to the trap, you let the door drop down. Works great and it is big enough to catch up to a medium size tang. just like to share this with you guys....

The club owns one of those.....its caught many a fish.

Which one were you removing? the red coris?

i thought about suggesting we share one for the club. yup caught the red coris...it was getting destructive, flipping things over to look for food. so out it goes. the trap works very well, you just have to have room for it. thanks Hai.

wow... that's a good idea... I've been using a Fondue Fork with a rubber band like a Hawaiian sling. (Just kidding). Where does one buy something like that...hmmm?

check with any online vendor. i dont have the model number but i gave the name of the company. i think it is easy to find. it worked very well....hai i will bring it by this week..thanks again.
