Fish Trap

Does the club have a fish trap I can use for a bit? I need to get this angel out and I have nto been successful with the trap that I made. I will need it mailed to me and ill mail it back to hand deliver it when I return this devil fish to the critter.

I had a lot of success simply using a clear liter bottle that I cut the top off of - then put it in my rocks with a rock on top to sort-of disguise it... feed in there for 3 days. Caught the the sneeky 6-line wrasse on the first try (fed, waited for her to go in, put large net over the end - voila!).

I have an old juice bottle in there now like that, and just bought a cheapo 3 liter bottle to put on the other end. he has wreaked havock in the last day or so and i can see spots on several corals that are showing white.

Sorry to hear about your corals. Your bi-color is much larger than our little six-line. The 3 liter might be large enough for him to become accustomed to... what if you put one of those schrumptious corals all the way in the back of the three liter as "bait"?

Jennie.. thought about that.. I went to a new friends house tonight and picked up a very fat healthy purple tang. while I was gone. she caught the little devil TWICE. fir stime she slipped and he got out. secon time he squeezed thru the food hole. LITTLE DEVIL. she will get his tail tomorrow.

Bart. he is gone. a new friend I met last night down here gave me a 6" purple tang he had in his 90. His brother is going fish only so....the little devil is headed to a tank completely devoid of coral! HAHAHA!!!!!

Ill try and get a photo of the purple here soon. fortunately, it was more worry than tail slapping and all 3 are very happy together.

Edit: photo of the trade. same colors, just different shapes and attitudes. crazy that the Sohal didnt care a lick about the new addition. The purple did the most Displaying and to the naso no less.

HA! that's hilarious Bart. that Bicolor about ate that Candy you gave me. Hopefully it will make a comeback. the guy I got the purple from has a neon green strain that I will be getting a frag from here soon. also scored some neon green zoas and he has some other frags that I havent seen in the club. He also know several others in our area so we may get some new membership.

WOW awesome gift.....wish i had that luck...more so with my HA i think a tang would be happy for like 2 days lol
