Fish Trap

You can borrow mine if you're willing to mail it back to me (if you can't find one locally, that is).

awsome, i need to trap a coral nipping, not so CORAL beauty, never used to pick (that i noticed) but it has turned on me

so if anyone wants one, let me know, lol

andy has the clubs fish trap. get ahold of him.ask him if he can bring to the swap. its a really nice that can hold your fish for transport. i also have one of my own got from ebay fish long time ago.

I had the same problem with my coral B. I used the 2 liter bottle trick and it works like a charm on one of these little nippers. They are so busy zooming in and out of the rock caves (which they love), they never notice the trap..

DANGIT!!!! I didnt grab it this morning and im not gonig by teh house.. wasnt sure if you got one from andy or not. I can make you one SUPER EASY. just bring the cheapest 3 liter bottle you can (we will pour it out if full) and some fishing string.

pickup or anyone, if i use the 2 liter idea, is there anything specific i need to do to clean out the bottle, soap? rinse? both? what?

I peeled the label off and scubbed the bottle to get all the glue off with GooGone (has natural ingredients) and a brand new scrub brush. Then tiny amount of soap to remove googone, rinsed and rinsed with hot water until there was no smell at all of soap or googone. Et voila - one nice, clean 2 liter bottle.

Unfortunately, the puppy got it after I had used it to catch the 6-Line and tore it to pieces!

I was worried that the glue might break down in the salt-water or a piece might come off in the tank - but thats just me. I had the 2 liter in the tank for 4 days.

the bottle i used was so cheap, it barely had glue. I just washed it out, cut it, and then cut the neck so the fish could get in. I also cut a hole in it so I could put the food in it without moving it. tied a long string so I could sit in the chair and wait. the wife actually caught the little devil I had and out he went.
