Zebra Morays are placed in reefs from time to time because they are one of the most docile eels. They typically do not eat fish but they will eat small shrimp and crabs. They also get fairly large and have a tendancy to knock rocks/coral over as most Morays do. They will also add a large bio load to the tank thus making it difficult to maintain low nutrient levels.
I keep a lionfish in my reef tank and they usually eat my shrimp. This fuzzy dwarf I have now has not so far. I know it is not a Zebra Moray. I was just adding in that it is also said to be NOT REEF SAFE. Triggerfish, how do eels produce high bio load?? I thought they were less?
