Fisrt time encounter of the excellent support

Just wanted to post about the support I received from Michael which helped me trouble shoot the alarm issue I was having since day 1.

I have slowly been getting my Profilux up and running and from day 1 the alarm light has been flashing. Not a big deal on the 3.x version but when I upgraded to 4.0 then the big ALARM notification flashes. So for the last few hours Michael and I have been chatting by email to try to find out what the root cause was.

After sending him the settings file and a trying a few other things we finally found the issue, by capping off the redox with the false BNC plug (which was included) the alarm stopped.

I know GHL/Profilux has always prided themselves on the CS, it was great to witness it first hand. I am happy to know I invested in something that is truly supported.

Can't wait to get more devices plugged in and hooked up to the LAN.

there is another, easier way to stop the alarm:

if inputs are not used (like in your case redox) then deactivate this input - there is a setting "activity: enable / disable" - I am not talking about the setting "alarm: enable"!
