Fission Nano Skimmer

I am in the process of setting up a new 20 gallon reef, and I have almost everything lined up and ready to go. I found a nice set of power compacts with the 50/50, Actinics, and LED moon lights, that will be great for the softies I will be keeping. I will be running an old AC 110 that I have baffled for a make shift refugium. Now to the Kicker, I need to save as much money as possible for my live rock and eventually my inverts. My LFS has the Fission Nano Skimmer for $25 bucks and that would be great for me! Does it work? I have gotten a little feed back about them and like the idea that the collection cup comes pre plumbed for an airline to another collection container. I have not heard any significant success stories that make me want to buy one quite yet except for the price. Please Help.

I havent heard one good word about them.Everyone says they are junk. I never tried one.You might try this question in the nano reef forum.

I bought thinking it was only $30. After reading up on it after. I threw it away but kept the pump. It didn't even fit in my tank anyways. they said it was 2" but that's not including the piping. I only heard bad stuff about it. I bought a Sapphire skimmer instead.

Also, if you are willing to spend a few more bucks, a Tunze 9002 internal skimmer would be best. <--- very good compact skimmers for the price. They run around $135 I believe.
